Sewing is great hobby, we can teach you the basics right up-to professional sewing techniques. To all our own customers we offer the opportunity of free training in our sewing workshop.
We run various courses for all types of sewing and welcome teachers and their pupils and all sewing enthusiasts.
If certain schools, colleges have purchased machines via our Education discount department we welcome the students from those schools to come in during holiday times and be given extra training on any aspect of their sewing machine.
Our sewing courses are extremely popular, hence you must have an appointment. Please call 0871 5089806 and ask for the the training team. The classroom area is heated, has tea/coffee making facilities, toilet facilities, tables, chairs and plenty of natural light which is important but often overlooked when choosing a sewing or patchwork & quilting class.

Patchwork & Quilting
Two days per week, one evening per week and most Saturday's in the month.
Our Patchwork & Quilting classes are run by a City & Gilds trained tutor, with years of experience and know-how to pass on training and tips to help beginner or experienced quilters.
Quilting is for everyone and many techniques are covered starting from sample quilts to tie dying fabrics.
Sewing & Dressmaking Classes
Our dressmaking classes are specifically designed for those wishing to make fashion garments to suit their personality whilst learning.
We have sewing classes for total beginners, using basic sewing techniques where you can learn sewing shortcuts or zip placement that cannot go wrong, to garment production and advanced sewing skills, everything from lingerie techniques, inserting zips to tailoring dresses.
