A great sturdy machine for the price. Although it only has a couple more stitches than my previous machine, it is capable of sewing heavy / thick fabric and I believe that is more important than a machine that may have more stitch options than this model. Both this and my previous machine are Toyota but this model feels like a sewing machine should, I.e it has some weight to it.

This is really a lovely machine. It offers everything a beginner or advanced seamstress needs. I've been sewing for over 50 years and it's the first machine that has offered automatic needle threading which I have found such a bonus. A am extremely happy with my new Toyota Quiltmaster! All the feet I will ever need are included. This machine is perfect for my needs. ( I make quilts, cushions, curtains and textile art) It is a pleasure to use. No issues with thread tension, which was always a problem with my old machine. I read a lot of reviews on may different sewing machines before purchasing this one and I am very happy with my new sewing machine. It is quiet, easy to thread and has great accessories. In the 5 days I have had it, I have made curtains, 7 small quilts, a table cloth, place mats and a dress for Christmas. The machine has not made a wrong move and everything has turned out beautifully with great stitching. It is worth taking your time to familiarize yourself with the stitches and get your tension right before you start any project - this took me a couple of hours. I am sure you will be as happy as me if you buy this sewing machine.
