I just started quilting and this machine is a great for beginners. I misplaced my manual, recommend that you keep it in a safe place. Easy to use. Good Brand. Will upgrade soon but will keep the same brand.

It is one of the best machines I have ever used. It is made of solid metal and does a smooth job. It has a lot of features that I find come in handy very often personally. There is no bad points for me about this sewing machine: recommended from the bottom of my heart.

My very first sewing machine, bought in Feb 09 - mine was very good value as an ex-diplay model, but still good value at full price. 10 months later and Im still very pleased with it - easy to set up, clear controls, good instruction booklet. Ive managed to quilt on it, as well as doing more general sewing. Also looks really good - a bit girly and cute, but still efficient and reliable. Id highly recommend

This machine is so light and easy to move around, which is the main reason for my purchase of this model, but really surprised to find how lightweight it really is. I am very pleased with the features, I am not a big sewer so this is ideal for me. I have just made some new curtains and I am happy with the results. I chose a Singer machine as my old one was a Singer, which has now had its day and was extremely heavy.

Never had a bit of trouble out of this machine. Ive had it for 16 months, and i sew alot. Easy to understand manual that comes with it, and lots of stitches to pick from!!!! Excellent buy!

I love my Janome sewing machine and find it quiet,easy to use and up to the job. One small change I would like to see is the way in which the machine feet are changed, this can be fiddly. The Bernina has a simple locking catch which allows the machine feet to be changed quickly. On the whole thanks Janome.
