Some models combine overlock stitches together with a cover hem stitch. These models usually use 5 threads, however, some use even more. In fact up to 8 threads.!

This is an excellent machine, very sturdily built. I hesitated for ages over buying an overlocker and I admit to being terrified of using it. I need not have worried; it comes ready threaded so you can get going straight away, and I've completed some cushion covers today with a very professional looking finish. The instruction book is not brilliant and the dvd very outdated, but there are loads of YouTube videos showing how to thread it etc. I can't wait to experiment with the different feet supplied and varying the stitch size etc. A great buy.

I pondered over buying the overlocker, wondering if I would use it often. I am glad I bought it. It is fantastic and has made my outfits so professional. No more raggy seams. I had a zigzag function on my sewing machine but this is so much better, in a league of it's own! I telephoned for advice which was so helpful and informative. My overlocker arrived as expected, no problems. My first challenge was a dark brown so I had to change the thread. I did as others had suggested and knotted the threads but a couple did not go through as planned. I panicked but had no need as it was so easy, following the diagram on the machine and printed instructions. If you are considering buying this overlocker, have no fears. It is a wonderful machine and can tackle anything,

Hiya, I am pleased with how convenient this over locker is to transport and the quality of the finishes it produces. I would definitely recommend it to other people however it is limited edition so may not be on the market for long.

I bought this machine about a month ago and I love, love it. It is so easy to use and the extra space upfront is just great. The variable speed of sewing is great. I do feel however the plastic dust cover is cheap and tacky , I would have thought Baby Lock could have done better than this. A seam guide would have been good too-- none of my niggles detract from the quality of the machine ---it is a fabulous sewing tool

I wish to send my appreciation to every member of staff who dealt with my orders of a Brother Overlocker 4234d and a flatbed Brother XR27NT sewing machine plus a beautiful work table by Horn. Not only are all these machines of first-class quality, BUT the workforce who dealt with me and my problems with being Very Deaf , were kind and understanding. Patience was their main quality and if anyone reading this message, needs to purchase a new sewing machine, then this is the company to contact for help all the way through the buying process. Duke and James must get a special mention with my sincere thanks. Can you publish this in your sales magazine or staff newspaper.
