Some models combine overlock stitches together with a cover hem stitch. These models usually use 5 threads, however, some use even more. In fact up to 8 threads.!

I looked for years to purchase a new machine...hand quilting is so time consuming and I didn't want an all singing all dancing machine no embroidery features just straight stitch. I was delighted when I found the Sashiko. I am very pleased with my choice. Its quiet, smooth and easy to thread and use. This Babylock will be with me for a long time.

Really fantastic service, and a great machine. When i first used it, i had to turn the wheel quite hard to start it off (i didnt want to force it so spent ages trying to work out what was wrong), but it turns out they must tighten it when packing it so that the machinery doesnt move. After the first time it runs smoothly! Was really pleased with the online tracking and status updates as im quite hesitant to use internet sites i havent heard of, but was really pleased. I have now put in another order for a coverstitch machine, and i will continue to use this site in the future.

For over a year I reviewed the Sashiko machine with the goal of purchasing but wasn't quite sure. In a review I read on the internet sewing blogs,sewing magazines,brochures,spoke with dealers and professionals regarding the best machines. I personally used each machine quilting machine with different kinds of fabric to review the quality of stitching produced by each brand. None of the top machine could do what this machine does. I have put about 1000 hours on the machine and it continues to sew beautifully. This machine sews a beautiful straight stitch. I would recommend this machine to anyone from dressmaking to quilting you will always create something unique and individual with Babylock Sashiko. This machine is great for home deck,clothing,drapes,quilts and creative sewing projects. I always shop with sewingmachinesales, always buy from a dealer with a good reputation because if problems arise they will be there to solve your issues with excellent knowledge.

A truly amazing overlock machine. I still use a 1920s model 99 Singer for everyday sewing so didnt know what to expect but the build quality, ease of use, flexibility, smoothness, lighting, everything is just perfect. I doubt if it will last 90 years like my other machine but you just never know....Now looking seriously at buying a CE250 to replace my model 99.

This little gem is worth its price together with the FREE Accessory Kit. Being so compact its easy to move around, & storage is no problem if youre lacking of space. The threading parts are colour coded; to save time in re-threading, I simply joined the new spool to the ones that came with it, pulled it through the loop holes. Good performance, good for everyday sewing & easy to follow DVD instructions, am happy with this purchase.Thank you!

This machine is very much the same as my old Singer overlocker, witch lasted about 8 years of hard use as i use it nearly 4 days a week, so if my new overlocker lasta as long ill be another happy customer.
