80%Excellent machine for the price. The IDT works perfectly and the stitch quality is excellent. Very even, straight stitches. I would highly recommend this machine to fellow quilters.

60%Good quality-price relation. The Pfaff expression 3 is great for those who start sewing but would like to have a wider range of stitches and features, including satin stitches and one capital letters alphabet. The memory has a limit of 30 steps, but as starting computerized sew machine is a good value. It comes with 9 feet, including standard, zipper, buttonhole, overcasting, blindhem, satin stitch, button sewing, 1/4 quilting and free-motion/darning. It is easy to use for those used to computers and electronical devices. Used to mechanical sew machines it took me some time to bring up the bobbin thread but once you get used to it is easy. For the price it costs the quality of stitching is good as well as the material of which is made. Only be aware that there is no clear information on extending it by using other feet (beading, bias, ruffler-pleater, cording, ...)

100%I was going to buy the 300e, but got the Memory Craft 350e instead. It has two big advantages, firstly the USB connection to transfer designs quicker and it cuts the threads ready for the next colour change.

80%A well designed machine, with many interesting features, to aid the user to produce accurate and professional looking work. There is great scope for customising the vast array of stitches. I do, however find the machine very heavy to lift. I am delighted with my purchase, and the service I have received.
