Which is best? Will it sew thick fabric?

I really love the quality and simplicity of use that this machine offers. I have one question, is there a repositionable hoop available for this machine? I would love to embroider borders without changing hoops so much. I would appreciate any information on this question. Thank you Rita Crick

Having had my last machine for 30 years it was with some trepedation I decided to buy a modern one. My Janome bcc 30 is amazing, everything is so easy, I just love it. Also living in Northern Ireland, we usually have delays and a lot of added expense for delivery, but not the case here, Fair prices ,Fast delivery. I love the way this machine embroiders. It is an easy machine to learn how to work with or without the instruction manual. I feel like I am getting better results with the 350e than I did with my Pfaff (which I am keeping). I researched embroidery machines before I bought this and I am glad I chose this one.

I love the ease of threading. The many features of this machine are wonderful. Being able to create my own stitches with the My Custom Stitch feature as well as being able to combine the different classes of stitches to expand the stitch capabilities is a super plus while heirloom sewing and quilting. The pattern stitches come out wonderful. You do need to read the manual and follow the instructions for perfect pattern sewing by using a stabilizer geared to the type of fabric being used. I have found most imperfections or problems encountered are due to user error or lack of reading the manual and following recommendations. The embroidery is also wonderful. I advise any new person starting out embroidering to learn as much as possible before judging your machine. There is a lot involved in embroidering properly but once learned it is very addicting indeed.

Very pleased overall with machine but had a few teething problems which were time consuming and annoying. Original bulb did not work and replacement had to be fitted by retailer and then bobbin jammed with thread (my fault) but I was unable to free so another 50 mile round trip to retailer. Like the automatic needle threader and button hole function.

Machine was out of stock when i ordered so took a little longer than next day to arrive, however i was well impressed with it once out of the box. It is a very sturdy machine , not at all complicated, and just what i need to make the home furnishings for my new house. I have had a computerized machine in the past and was not impressed, you cant beat a basic bog standard machine. and this is it!!!!!!!
