Newcomer to the sewing game , bought this to replace a Brother which was rubbish ( tension was always wrong), The delivery was excellent and with the work we’ve done so far seems a good little machine, Would have liked something inthe manual on auto needle threading so I didn’t have to resort to U- tubes but we got there in the end

Hi just set up machine and very happy with it . People are saying needle thread backward. I have bad sight and found if you took the machine back out something underneath it's much easier than trying to bend and thread then found it magic .Also there is a video to see to help you with the automatic thread I'm so happy as now can three without frustration . Thanks .

I bought the Singer 4423 and find it robust fast which I like. Smooth sewing. For a small machine it packs power. The self threader is useful. I have not tried all features yet but I am sure I will find them satisfactory. Also quick delivery Christmas holiday period
