I had never bought a machine from here before but it wont be the last time I do the service I have had from Duke has been exceptional nothing is too much of a problem and my questions have been answered quickly and my mind put at ease. I bought the XV in November 2014 - so far I have made a frozen quilt for my grand daughter from a panel with embroidery on the back - and a very extensive embroidered baby quilt with a Zoo design, clouds bugs etc - the embroidery on this machine is fab and for anyone that quilts and embroiders the camera is a must. I used the camera to scan my fabric then placed the design where I wanted it to go because you can see the fabric its easier to place making it so fast, much better than using the grids, then adding wording to the project to make it my own, my quilt included the DOB the time and weight and name and this was all done in the hoop it's a doddle adding extra to your design with this machine. I have also used the machine to sew the quilt together using the Duel feed foot, I must admit when I first looked at the duel feed foot I was dreading attaching it to the machine but no worries it was a lot easier than I thought no different to any other foot and wow it makes sewing through thick fabrics a real dream. There is one thing that really stands out for me on the Brother machines and that's the needle threader, believe me when I tell you it's the best needle threader of any machine, and I have had a few. I am really happy with my purchase and so is my hubby as he will use this machine to help me out sometime he says its easy to use and loves the needle threader too. I hope this review has helped

I work nights and purchased my Pfaff Ambition machine in the middle of the night ie; early Monday and it arrived bang on time Tuesday afternoon. Price was cheapest by £40 and include free trolley storage bag amongst others. i had a message that trolley bag was out of stock so thought the worse. ie; con trick BUT NO the trolley bag arrived in 5 days and is FAB quality for a freebie. NO HESITATION IN RECOMMENDING YOUR WEBSITE/SERVICE. Gets 5* from me

I purchased this JP760 sewing machine for my wife who is a very experienced sewing machinist who has a number of other Janome products in use, including a Horizon Memory Craft 7700QCP, an overlocker and a basic Model 3816. The prime purpose for the Jem 760 is for her away-from-home quilting projects and to be a very portable machine to take to her local quilting club. From the male perspective, I do not believe these products can be faulted in any way and I am most impressed with the build quality, solid feel and superb engineering that is evident in all the Janome machines my wife uses. Since receiving the Jem, my wife has used it extensively and has literally fallen in love with it! She says it is so easy to use, is very quiet in operation and all in all, a lovely little machine.

Ordering was quite made simple. Delivery window was spot on. Protective packaging was excellent. the free extension table was not attached but was in the post the following day. It will be a replacement for my Frister and Rossmann which I have had 45 years service from. I am very pleased with the machine as it does everything that was claimed it could. The flimsy cover could have been better, but I will soon be replacing it with a new one from you along with some other items as the service was second to none.

Lightweight and easy to handle. Effortless machining. I like the visible spool. Probably won't use all programs, but they are there if required. Pity a couple of extras e.g. zipper foot, aren't included as standard. Sooner have those than free scissors, but overall very good value for money.

Really enjoying this machine, excellent for felting and adding embellishments after wet felting. I have also done some embellishing on to silk with interesting results. It is quiet and easy to use with very sensitive accelleration so it is easy to control. Was worried about needles breaking but have broken none so far, giving it time for the needles to go up to their position helps I think. So glad I bought it.

I am returning to sewing after 30 years. I think this is an ideal machine for a beginner and for an out of practice person like me. The instructions are straightforward to follow, the machine light enough to easily handle. Very happy with my purchase.

Excellent machine. I had always used Pfaff but was foolhardy and veered away to another manufactirer...a huge and expensive mistake! Back to Pfaff. The machine is well built and I would recommend it .

My experience with sewing has been very varied over the past 50 years - everything from simple garments through to upholstery and canvas awnings. These tasks were accomplished with an old Merritt, a terrible Singer Slant-o-matic and more recently a 40 year old Elna Lotus. Wanting to move on to something more challenging it was time to consider quilting. After researching, talking to friends and visiting outlets the one machine that stood out for my requirements and budget was this machine. My daughter has had a Janome we gave her for her 21st birthday, never having had a days trouble with it, so I was aware of the Janome quality. After speaking to a VERY helpful representative of Sewing Machine Sales I was willingly persuaded to buy this machine. It duly arrived the next day, communications could not have been better, informed of the hour it would arrive! I could not wait to unpack it and make a swatch of the stitches available. What a surprise, not a single dropped stitch or snagged thread. The instruction manual is well written and easy to follow. The only adjustment required was to release the bottom tension a little to get a perfect stitch with the material and thread I was using. Because I am going to move onto quilting, the bonus quilting pack on offer made it more attractive. The machine is quiet and runs so smoothly, it is a pleasure to use. I may have to get used to using it without the foot pedal but think I will continue to use it as that is what I am most comfortable with. The needle up/down stop is most useful as well as the locking feature at the beginning and end of a run. Now I can't wait to get going on my first project. I bought my grand daughter a new more basic machine to learn on so some fun times are predicted with "sew along" sessions together. The only thing I would like to have is a hard cover for protection of my machine. Not sure if this is available as an accessory. Thank you SMS for a pleasant transaction.
