I just got the 11000 so it;s encouraging to read your review. I have the Digitizer Pro/MB software which is much better than Customizer. It takes some time to learn how to digitize but the Workbook and on-line lessons on the website site are fun to work through and you start and go at it step by step. Tremendous improvements were made going from Digitizer 10000 to the Pro/MB version. You can digitize to the Macro hoop and the program is much more versatile than Customizer. On the machine, I like the easy transition from regular sewing to embroidery. I just did a large embroidery on velvet with gold metallic thread and it turned out beautifully. This machine sews embroidery with more precision than previous models because its got the robot-technology arm.

After a full days use (this is my third machine) I think this machine is fantastic, easy to use, and produces a wide range of excellent stitches. Its a pity the manual is interleaved in several languages, its hard to find the English some times!

A few months ago I purchased this machine and I absolutely love it. It is the most wonderful machine and does everything (except make my tea). It has one of the largest embroidery area of all the manufacturers and came with many embroidery designs pre-loaded. As it is not a dedicated embroidery machine, so it can also be used for many other sewing tasks such as quilting etc. I think it has something like 900 inbuilt stitches and designs. I havnt even begun to explore all the possibilities of the machine. For transferring designs to the Innovis you can use the brother cards or a USB stick, which I normally use as it is simplest, or you can link direct to your PC with a USB cable. Worth every penny I paid for it.

For a lower-end machine, this is a great piece of equipment for the price. I do primarily garment construction (stretch and non-stretch) so I really only needed a bare-bones basic model and didnt want to spend pounds on a Pfaff or one of the more pricey brands. This one is perfect for me. I previously had a low-low end machine (under 100) so the difference was definitely noticeable and appreciated. The machine sewed smoothly, relatively quietly, and seems sturdy. I have an industrial machine at home as well and I have been finding myself relying more on my Janome now than on the industrial because its easier to use. Ive tried out a lot of the different stitches and was pleased with how easy it is to switch back and forth from one function to another. I have no regrets about my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend this machine to anyone. The only reason that it doesnt get a five is because it doesnt have a ton of power to go through several layers of thick fabric. I had a tough time sewing over thick seams so I use my industrial for that now.

Although all the technical information is available online, I like to share a few of the things I learned today. The machine is manufactured in Sweden. It took the Pfaff design team four years to design the machine in Kaiserslautern, Germany. They listened to what people liked/disliked on their current sewing machines. The result is a fantastic new sewing/embroidery machine. The Creative Vision is very easy to navigate. It is more user friendly than the Pfaff 2170, plus it has 16 times more memory than the 2170. You can resize and scale in the machine It has auto tension. No presser foot lever, it adjusts to 4 height positions though. Great for quilting. The new bobbins hold more thread. The machine has 9 mm stitches and new somewhat rounded presser feet, but many of the newer Pfaff presser feet, made since 2004, can be used too. Last but not least, the Creative Vision makes very nice buttonholes. Equal satin stitches on both sides, up and down.

I bought my Singer 2263 some time ago and Im pretty happy with it. It gets a lot of use, about three days a week. Ive only had two problems with it. One of the the two top bobbins (the spool holders on top of the machine) has broken off, so I have to use the front one, which isnt that big a deal but its kind of annoying if I ever wanted to use a double needle. My other complaint is that it seems like the thread breaks a lot when Im sewing, and I have to rethread the machine several times during sewing. Ive not had this problem before so I dont think its me. All in all though, for the price it is an excellent machine and I would recommend it to anyone, especially young fashion students looking for a bargain.

I am delighted with my new 7463. I am a huge Singer fan - having had a Singer machine for over 40 years. I am particulary pleased with the ease of set up and ofcourse the automatic needle threader - very useful to older stitchers! I was most impressed with the prompt efficient service.
