Which is best? Will it sew thick fabric?

I have been sewing for several years and found that this machine is perfect for all my needs, in both sewing and embroidery. It is quite easy to use for the beginner and experienced sewers. The embroidery part is excellent. I would not hesitate in recommending this machine to all levels of experience.

I bought this sewing machine to replace my 25 year old Husqvarna which had finally given up after countless curtains, cushion covers and clothes. I haven't used the new one much yet but my first impression is good. It is very easy fill the bobbin and the needle threader is magic! The accessories which came with the machine were unexpected - set of scissors, box of assorted coloured threads and a comprehensive sewing kit. I am sure it is going to suit me as well, or better than the old one did!

This is an easy to use machine and I love it. In my view it's suitable for both beginners and more experienced sewers. The tension is good. Reverse stitch is a doddle. It is so easy to remove the bobbin cover and take the bobbin out. Threading is easy. It has a built in needle threader which I haven't yet used but certainly intend to. I have only had it a short while but like what I have seen and used so far.

Bought this machine for Christmas. Only started to use it the week after Christmas. I love this machine. I make quilted wall hangings and bought it mainly to add texture to my creations, but will use it to create land and seascapes, and also to create new fabrics. Highly recommend this little machine. I have experimented with various mediums including organza, lace yarns etc all with interesting results. I purchased a book called Embellish, stitch and felt by Sheila Smith which gives lots of helpful articles and advice.

This sewing machine is for my wife, who is a member of a tap dance group of ladies. She helps make new dance outfits for the ladies of the dance group. Her old sewing machine had a lot of problems. After she read all the information about Pfatt 140s, she asked me to buy it for her. It arrived yesterday and she is more than happy with it. It is going to make her life a lot easier for making outfit´s for the dance group.

Though I have only just bought this machine two days before Xmas I am totally in awe of it, it has everything. I have started to get to grips with it and it is very user friendly especially for anyone with IT skills and if you are not IT savvy then there are plenty of instructions both in the handbook and on the screen. I can't wait to start using the embroidery functions but unfortunately work has now got in the way of pleasure, so I will have to wait until I have time. The only problem I can see is being able to stop using it, the housework will certainly suffer. Also many thanks to Sewing Machine Sales for how quickly they delivered the machine to me.
