Which is best? Will it sew thick fabric?

Really pleased with this smooth running un-complicated machine. Love the functions including the needle down or up selection when machine stops sewing. Also the clear bobbin lid so I can see when the thread has run out! Highly recommend it and very good value for money.

Excellent sewing machine does all that it says it does. My only issue is you cannot leave the cotton on when using the case/cover.

I love my machine. It's so easy to use. I would call myself a beginner but I had no trouble working with it from the first moment I took it out. I didn't even need the instructions although they are very extensive and very informative - I learned more things than I expected. Overall a great machine and I am very pleased with my purchase.

Very simple to use, lightweight and efficient. This sewing machine offers all I need to do crafts and dressmaking. I wish I'd bought one ages ago. Great price and speedy delivery.

WOW! What an easy-to-use machine. I've never used an embroidery machine before, and was somewhat nervous before the machine arrived as lots of friends had horror stories about their own experiences (only shared after I'd placed my order, of course!). I need not have worried. The Singer Futura CE250 is not only easy to use, but also easy to programme with my own designs. There are slight limitations here, very elaborate designs don't necessarily transfer from Paint to the stitching programme too well, but I'm finding it great fun to work with. Delivery was swift, too. Nothing but praise all round.

The service was great. Ordered machine 24/8/11 and it arrived first thing on 25/8/11. When I rang to ask a few questions about this machine, I was given the answers I needed politely. Although I have only used it briefly, the machine seems great to me and the instructions are clear. This is a fab machine for basic everyday sewing. I use mine to make curtains, crafts and for dressmaking a really good workhorse easy to maintain and very versatile.

Lovely machine, easy to use can't fault the machine or the service from Sewing Machine Sales. Little bit put out as down in price by £20 few days after I purchased but that's the way it goes.

I decided after 16 years it was time to up grade my sewing machine. After looking around and reading reviews I chose the Brother 400. It is an excellent machine which is easy to use and has lots of features. Would highly recommend it. I would also recommend using Sewing Machine Sales online service, the customer care is excellent.
