Which is best? Will it sew thick fabric?

The whole process of ordering and delivery was excellent and very fast - ordered Thursday evening, and it arrived Saturday morning. I am getting to know the machine and already love it. I thought it might be intimidating, and I have not had a Brother before, but all seems quite intuitive, and the manual is well organised and clear. It stitches beautifully, and automatic tension control (which can be overridden) is just wonderful. I also find it excellent for free motion work, having purchased a suitable foot. I am loving the threading and the fast bobbin insertion, as well as the automatic cutting of threads at the end. I am getting used to the knee presser lift which is very useful. It’s heavy but I can lift it. Altogether I am thrilled with this machine.

I ordered a Brother Innovis 15 sewing machine as a gift for my daughter, she is delighted, it has some very useful features, sews really quietly, it is not too basic. seems very good value for money. Delivered three days earlier than expected, and informed at every stage!

It's easy to buy a sewing machine on line - what is really important is the customer service that follows. I was delighted with my new Brother innovis A16 but accidentally damaged the spool winder. I returned it to Whitley Bay they fixed it and returned it promptly. Helpful on the phone and in the shop thoroughly recommend them.

I was looking to update my sewing machine and had been thinking of buying a computerised one. I looked at a lot of different machines for best value and what it could do. I am so pleased that i bought this sewing machine as it is so easy to use and not complicated with the different stitches. I only wish I had bought it sooner. The next day delivery was excellent. Would definitely recommend this machine for first time using computerised sewing machine as so easy to use.

I bought the machine for upholstery purposes and I’m impressed, it will see easily through 6 thick upholstery fabrics with ease. After 2 years, I thought I’d have a go with its embroidery feature and found it very easy to use too.

Bought this from Sewing Machine Sales 3 years ago, great service. It is still my favourite sewing machine. It’s just so easy, quick and reliable and specifically for me no electronics to fail. This machine is a life time purchase and will outlive me ! Super quality stitches every time, and stops dead, the thread cutter is quick and leaves very short threads and when you sew again there are never any birds nests. The needle threader has never worked for me but that doesn’t effect what I think about this machine, worth every penny in my mind.

Very lovely machine. For over 20 years, I used my trusted MC4000 without a single problem, so when I decided to upgrade I decided to stick with Janome. Brilliant machine and easy to use once you have mastered the menus. Only criticism I have is the needle threader which doesn't work. Sewing Machine Sales have said they will fix it but it means packing up and returning the whole machine and, quite frankly, that's just too much hassle and expense for such a small 'luxury'. Bit irritating though. Otherwise, the function and look of the machine is beautiful.
