Which is best? Will it sew thick fabric?

Firstly, delivery was as expected. I ordered on a Saturday AND on a bank holiday weekend, so I was due to get it on the Wednesday and as planned with exact time of delivery confirmed to me on the morning it was due, made it free of hassle. Moving onto the machine, I had a little time to play with it while the children were outside. I tested all the decorative stitches and the alphabet, to which I was very happy with - well ecstatic actually. There were one or two that needed tension adjustments, but it explains all of that in the manual. Seriously everything is in that manual. Also for a computerised machine, it is quiet! A little whirring sound in the background is as expected. The pedal is lovely, I thought quite soft and thought about for the comfort of the foot. On my last machine the pedal was very cheap plastic and uncomfortable to use in comparison. The speed function is utter perfection, I now cannot mess up seams like I did with my basic machine as it was either all go or not at all, no matter how careful I was. I don't hesitate to use it more than I did my other sewing machine. the finish of an item looks so much nicer too. The ease of use is fantastic. Oh and all of the accessories that come with it saves a fortune in the long run. This machine is everything that one could ask for as an amateur sewer/dressmaker. I sew everyday, for everyday things and I could not be happier with it. Thank you Sewing Machine Sales for such a great machine at a VERY good price!

I have been using the same machine for over 12 years and although it is still going I thought I would treat myself to a new machine with an embroidery feature. I was not disappointed...I love it. Easy to use with good instructions. Super quick delivery from Sewing Machine Sales, I will definitely be using them again for any accessories I need.

I needed to find a sitting down hobby due to advancing years and a bad back. I chose Husqvarna because we had an old one in the family and it had given excellent service. The built in needle threader is a boon, not mentioned in the handbook, but found "How to use" video on internet. Delivery was next day, trackable and very good. The machine came with a "goody" pack, scissors, cottons, walking foot, etc. As it only arrived a week ago I am still getting used to it, so far I am pleased with this puchase.

What a Fab Machine does a lot that other Brands do not do a bit more expensive than most but well worth every penny only given it a 4 because it had the Manual Missing and when Pfaff were contacted to send 1 Direct told they had none so don't know when I will get one not a very good advert for Pfaff which is a shame as the Machines they produce are 2nd to none just a good job I already own another Pfaff so new the basics of the Machine and had to download a manual from the internet but apart from that the Machine is just brilliant and I thoroughly recommend it

This sewing machine is a delight to use. I have previously used only very old heavy machines, so to be able to move it easily is a bonus. The CD is very helpful to me and it is a joy to thread as you can imagine from the previous old fashioned machines I have worked with. I am going to now teach my teenage Granddaughter to use it, she is excited to begin during next week at half term!

This is a Which? Best Buy - and that seems right to me. It's extremely good value and a very neat machine. It also has a blind hem stitch, which I wanted for altering the lengths of trousers - although you do have to buy the blind hem foot as an extra (but it isn't particularly expensive at £10.75p). The only drawback is that it hasn't got an overlocking or edge stitch for finishing raw edges - if it had, I would have given it five stars. Also, the pre sales advice and service from this firm were excellent.
