Excellent little machine. Lightweight to carry to classes but still feels robust, does an excellent stitch and is very easy to use. Highly recommend.

Excellent machine. I was well advised by the mechanic at sewing machine sales. When I told him what I wanted it for he gave me an option of about 4-5 machines and I chose this one (at a very good price I may add). I have owned and used machines by singer ,new home ,Husqvarna, janome .riccar and bernina over the years and I use a PFAFF and a Durkopp at work. I find the reliability of Pfaff to be second to none and the domestic machine seems to be in the same mould. I also purchased a few feet with the machine and they are all good value for money ..

I did my research and realised this was the machine for me, and I was right, machine is fantastic, and the large hoop size allows me to do the projects I need, although, I might have to get a smaller hoop too.I must say the service was excellent, although I did expect at least a full bobbin of cotton,as no thread at all came with the machine, luckily I had ordered some so could play straight away

Having had this beautiful machine for around 4 months now I can't sing it's praises highly enough. I have a combination embroidery/sewing machine too but this one has very large hoops so I now have the best of both worlds. Stitch quality is fabulous, using the control panel is very intuitive, it holds your hands as you go through the embroidery process. In The Hoop designs are a breeze. Fab machine with great service from SMS.Recommend.

I did a fair bit of reviews research before deciding upon this sewing machine which was replacing my old and excellent Frister Rossman after 33 years of good use. My sewing experience spans 45 years and, although I would not claim to be a high end professional, there is virtually nothing that I haven't made in the world of sewing. I know what I want from a machine - something that is capable of a very wide range of tasks and that is light weight but not too flimsy. I think I have found it in the Toyota Super Jeans. It is certainly a lot lighter that my old machine which was really getting too heavy to get out and put away. Although the Toyota feels a bit plasticy, this doesn't seem to affect it's sewing ability. The one feature I do like is its ability to sew properly through thick layers of fabric. This is so useful when doing alterations - particularly waistbands and trouser seams. It also handles fleece fabric really well. Other things I like about the Toyota are the ease of changing and attaching the various sewing feet - simply a matter of pressing a release button to remove one attachment and then lowering the pressure foot on to the next fitting where it just snaps into place. I also like the self threading needle gadget which saves such a lot of time when you just keep missing the blinking needle trying to thread it. It's not especially noisy in operation and the foot control feels nice and responsive and reasonably smooth. The price was another plus factor at £124 free shipping and very prompt delivery from www.sewingmachine-sales.co.uk. There are a couple of design features which could be improved. The on-board light is totally inadequate. Add to that the all black colour of the machine and you really need a secondary light to see what you're doing. The white machine would have been better - but it was more expensive! Says a lot .... The little storage box for the other bits and bobs - bobbins and sewing feet which came with the machine is hopeless. It clicks onto the front/side of the machine in a very awkward and clumsy way and when you get it off - in a bit of a jerk, all the content fall out as - guess what - it doesn't have a lid! Conversely, there is a very useful hinged flap on the front of the machine which contains a well thought out reference booklet, but also has room for some bobbins and the seam unpicker. The whole machine is not a streamlined vision of elegance, but it does the job pretty well and, for me, is the right machine.
