This is a great sewing machine, I love using it. Among the features I particularly like are the sewing advisor system that ensures you use the correct needle, presser foot and stitch for the fabric, the fix function and the selective thread cutter. It is so easy to create your own stitch programs that my 5 year old grand daughter can create and sew names and patterns. I have tried the embroidery function and it was easy to create beautiful embellishments. The software that comes with the machine is more complicated and will take time to understand; some support with this would be beneficial.

this is a wonderful machine,very easy to understand and does so many things I am in 7th heaven with it, I've always had a machine since my early teens and this is the crown ! Love it and would recommend it to anyone or everyone.

Husqvarna Viking Designer Ruby Royale WOW! I am the luckiest woman. My husband purchased this for me. I have lost the use of my left hand but with this machine I can indulge in my passion for creating beautiful things for my home and family. Features that are impressive are the pressure foot lift via the foot pedal, automatic thread cuts and virtually hands free embroidery. I could go on and on. This is a fantastic machine. Wonderful straight stitch and although this is not advertised as a quilting machine it is the best machine I have used for fmq. The machine itself feels sturdy and runs quietly even at top speed. The screen is large and easy to use. I have not found anything I dislike about this machine and I would highly recommend the Janome 9900 whether you are going to use it for sewing, embroidering or quilting. As always excellent service by sewing machine sales.
