Which is best? Will it sew thick fabric?

The machine arrived packaged well in the manufacturers original packaging, although it seems the package was opened and resealed (I'm assuming this is due to the addition of the free gift that came with this purchase). I haven't had the full experience yet, however from the little amount of usage, it is a very nice machine. The different stitch options and embroidery features, also the touch screen and auto threading are great and I'm enjoying learning all the things it offers. I am very happy with my purchase.

I am really pleased with this machine, having replaced a broken better known brand which was very temperamental! It is quite easy to use and sews well. The only downside is that it has more stitch choice than my old machine but the manufacturers guidance on these is minimal, so I am not sure what some of the stitches do - it would be good if Silver put more detail in their manual. Otherwise great machine!

I already have 5 other sewing machines but my work horse machine seemed to be showing signs of winding down to retirement so I had been thinking about a replacement. I must admit the price of the Juki was the main thing holding me back from choosing the DX7, however having heard several professional sewers extolling it's virtues I decided to invest. I have now had the machine for a week and love it - the 1/4 inch seam allowance, the lock stitch, the presser foot up/down and the cut thread buttons are a joy when sewing. It copes well with a variety of different fabrics and thicknesses. The large extension table is also a god send for supporting your fabric. If I was picky then the only slight negative is that I have found the needle threader a bit temperamental at times. I have only given the machine 4* due to the price. Being objective this machine is nearly three times the current price of of previous machine ( Brother F420) but I am not yet sure if the extra functionality makes it three times the machine - only time will tell. I would say if you have the funds available it is a very good machine especially if you do a lot of sewing. I found the staff at Sewing Machine Sales provided an excellent 5* service and would definitely recommend them whichever machine you are considering buying.

Seems excellent only just starting using but very happy so far I've had far dearer machines in the past but this seems equally as good. Only negative is the tool box needs to be removed to open but small negative.

A very sturdy workhorse machine. Straightforward to use, I have swapped a computerised machine for this and although it has less fancy gadgets I prefer it. I must say that Sewing Machine Sales offer an excellent customer service experience, thank you ????

Lovely machine, took at little bit of getting used to it because it’s all computerised including the foot which I caught my finger under very painful but apart from that it’s a beautiful machine and great stitches. It doesn’t like to thick of fabrics .
