I was recommended this machine by a seamstress friend. My previous machine was very old but high quality and heavy. This is light, pretty easy to use and plenty of stitch choice (50). Just getting to grips with all it can do. I like the fact you don't have to use a foot pedal and it has a needle threader and can control the speed rather than rely on your foot pressure. Not used it much as yet but do like it. My only concern would be that it is not as tough as my old machine and I wonder how long all the parts will last?

I am very pleased with this machine, the stitch quality is good, I have not yet tried to sew a jeans hem but I have made several denim bags with it with no problems at all. It is easy to use and runs very smoothly, and is good value for money. On the down side I wished you could alter the width and length of some of the stitch patterns to give more variety but then again perhaps I am asking to much considering the price of the machine. I also have an electronic machine but turn to the super jeans for most daily projects.

Excellent little machine for the price. Used it to sew upholstery fabric and it seemed to cope admirably with it. It is a little noisy and very light which has its bonuses but also negatives when using bulky heavyweight fabric. The needle threading is fine and saves my eyesight and fiddling about with the thread. Delivery was really quick and packaged very well in its original box without lots of unnecessary cardboard. All in all a great little machine and good value for the money

This is a superb machine. I have only just received this machine and haven't yet explored all its facilities, but what I have are great. The instruction manual is a must but is fairly easy to follow. I've even been able to create my own design and sew successfully. I read a review before I bought this machine and the writer says it is addictive. She was right. :0)

Love this machine! Easy to set up and use. In selecting a stitch the machine automatically sets the width/length for you, although you can alter the settings easily if you want to. The display shows you which foot you should use for the selected stitch. The machine is light. My previous machine was a brother and over 20 years old, this one is a vast improvement. I would think this could be used by beginners and experts alike and so far seems very good value for the money.
