Some models combine overlock stitches together with a cover hem stitch. These models usually use 5 threads, however, some use even more. In fact up to 8 threads.!

This is my second babylock overlocker, the first lasted about 20 years. I am hoping this new babylock will last just as long. By the feel of using it over the last few weeks, I expect it will. It does a neat overlock and cut the fabric much better then my old one.

The service was first class as always. ordered the machine on Saturday and it arrived on Sunday. The machine is excellent, easy to thread and use. The automatic threader is a real bonus, I love the onboard tool storage and free arm facility.

Superb delivery, arrived within 24 hours of order, already threaded up. Really pleased with Janome 6234XL, good solid stitching and tidy trimming. Big improvement on my previous smaller Brother overlocker. Looking forward to adding some attachments, for binding etc.

Great service ordered very late on the Wednesday evening and delivered on the Friday. I have to confess I haven't used it yet but have watched dvd and read all the reviews and am sure I will find it easy to use.

Excellent machine, very pleased with it. Only a starter guide included. Had to download the instruction manual of the internet. Comes with UK plug. No actual overlocking threads included, the freebie thread I would use only on my sewing machine as they are small. Threading was a nightmare for the uncoloured parts but watched a video on You Tube and Hey Presto. Simple. Overlocks very fast, will take time to learn how much pressure to put on pedal. Cuts very swiftly but remember to lift knife out way if you just want it to overlock and not cut your material, I learnt the hard way, luckily I managed to salvage the item. Looks and feels sturdy and has metal thread holders.

Delighted with this OVERLOCKER. Ordered Thursday evening and was delivered Saturday morning. Already threaded, bag came with it, lots of accessories which don’t come with others. Been using all week. Wish I’d bought one long ago. Get one, you won’t be disappointed.

A really easy purchasing experience, delivery by DPD next working day was really good too. My first overlocker and it appears to have to useful features, it is certainly easy to thread (a common fear with these I understand). It appears to deliver a lovely stitch and I've played around with most of the features now, including 3 thread overlocking. There are some really handy videos online but it does come with a dvd and the guide book is comprehensive (if technical for a newbie at the outset!). I'd recommend this machine and the buying experience.
