Some models combine overlock stitches together with a cover hem stitch. These models usually use 5 threads, however, some use even more. In fact up to 8 threads.!

I have only had this machine for a week and made one garment with it. The cover stitch is a really useful stitch to have when sewing jersey fabric and as I already own a separate sewing machine and overlocker (both bought from this shop!) I didn't feel I could justify a more expensive overlocker which also did cover stitch. I also wanted to have my machine set up and ready to use so that I could switch easily between machines and therefore not have to change settings etc. For me, this machine is reasonably priced and a great entry level machine. The machine can be set up to make both wide and narrow cover stitch. The instructions for threading are nowhere near as complicated as my overlocker and there is no fiddling in hard to reach places as the machine slides sections out at the push of a button to enable easy threading of the looper (underneath the sewing plate). My early days have proved that this machine will produce a fabulous stitch to hem jersey and I even managed a neckline without the need to reinforce with interfacing! I may need to buy a seam guide to ensure that I stitch in the right place. Some more expensive machine already have this option but I haven't found it too difficult to use without one. Overall, for a professional finish to any garment, I would recommend this machine as good value for money and easy to use.

Have had 3 babylock overlockers in the past so went for a 4th with the enspire, great machine and now fitted with the air thread system, it makes threading the enspire so simple. Would recomend this machine.

This is my third overlocker. The first two were used by the family and finished up finding new homes. This overlocker Brother 3034DWT is the best of the bunch, and will not be leaving my sight!! Would recommend this overlocker to any one that is serious about sewing.

What a joy to use! I am a professional soft furnishings and costume maker so I couldn't manage with anything unreliable. This machine is just perfect. easy to thread and sews like a dream. Better than an industrial machine with it's variety of stitches and it travels which is wonderful for on-site jobs.

I have used many overlockers over the years as I am Wardrobe Mistress for several amateur amdrams in our area. In the main the previous models have had a limited life and were not gtthe best for the amount of use i needed. Having researched many new models I settled on The Brother, even though it was above my intended budget.. i was a little disapointed that the advertised "ready threaded" meant about 2 foot of thread rather than possible small reels to get me started. However, having used these machines before i found it straightforward to thread. I was very pleased at the speed the machine could go without threads breaking or becoming entangled - it certainly speeded up long jobs. Looking forward to seeing what else this machine can do. Really pleased ,opened the box ,read the manual, switched on the machine and off It went. The machine arrived ready threaded which was one thing I was worried about. The service from Sewing Machine Sales was brilliant - the lady I spoke to when making my purchase was very knowledgeable and helpful, delivery was spot on too. I do like the Janome sewing machine I have for its reliability and from the little experience I've had with my over locker so far have every reason to believe this machine will be the same

Arrived on time despite the snow. Tried another make but having arthritis in hands found it difficult to thread the lower looper. Gave up trying as knew how to thread it but physically impossible. Now I have my JUKI MO-2000QVP and it is fantastic. I would say I was a complete overlocker beginner so watched the dvd in conjunction with the overlocker as found manual a little hard to understand due to my limited experience. Threaded first time with 4 thread system. Tried 3 thread, no problem. Disengaged knife easily and even cautiously sewed a rolled hem. All without problems. Would recommend this to all levels. Also the needle threader is very easy to use..
